| Carolina Legge Sancta Familia Academy welcomes the arrival of Carolina, born on Saturday, November 10th. Prayers and congratulations go to the Legge family. Handel's Messiah Concert Sunday, November 25th, at 3:00 p.m. - The Messiah Choral Society gives a free concert every year at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Plan on arriving around 1 hour before the scheduled time of 3:00 when the concert begins. The Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre is located at 401 W. Livingston Street in downtown Orlando. Saint Nicholas Party On Thursday, December 6th, starting with a pizza lunch at 12:15, we will have our St. Nicholas and school decorating party. Activities set to begin after lunch include setting up the Christmas tree along with decorating the school entry and classrooms, making Jesse Tree ornaments, felt mice candy cane holders, and decorating gingerbread men. Parents are asked to help with assisting the children with the projects or to send oranges and pretzels to share with everyone at lunchtime. Christmas Dinner Theatre Monies from the sale of tickets tot he December 13th Christmas Dinner Theatre need to be turned in by Wednesday, December 5th for a count of people attending. There is no school on Friday, December 14th. PTO Meeting Please join us for the December PTO meeting on Tuesday the 11th, at 7:00 pm at the school. Eucharistic Crusade Sancta Familia Academy will be collecting pennies during Advent to support the Eucharistic Crusade. Located in the front entry, Hostia newsletters with the promises for a Page, Crusader, Handmaid, or Knight, along with the Rules of a Crusader, prayers, monthly intentions, Saints and Fatima articles are available for families to read. Christmas Exchange All students and families are asked to send in a wrapped gift with a tag specifying a boy, girl and/or age preference. The gifts will be donated in December to the Sharing Center in Melbourne.
