Whether you are currently homeschooling your children or they attend a
traditional school, Sancta Familia Academy may be just what you've been
praying for. If you are just looking for guidance implementing your homeschool,
looking to transition out of traditional school, or looking for a Christ-centered
school environment, SFA can help.
Combining the best of home education with the best that classroom education
has to offer, Sancta Familia's classical school (k-6) and university style
academy (7-12), in partnership with parents, prepares students for college,
adult life, and most importantly, eternity.
Families who join Sancta Familia Academy may exercise their option to enroll
their children in a private school, in a non-traditional private school, or in a home
education program.
Sancta Familia Academy was founded in 2001 to meet the needs of the growing
number of families pursuing non-traditional educational programs. Over the last 7
years we have been expanding our services to better meet the needs of parents and
children in Florida as well as across the nation. We support parent-directed education
and offer four distinct alternative programs.
Classical Christian School: Sancta Familia Classical Academy is a Christ centered grammar school for students in grades
kindergarten through 6th. Core classes are scheduled one, two, or three days per week and include English, Latin,
Christian Studies, History, Geography, Science, and Math. Enrichment classes are scheduled one or two days per week and
are available to local homeschoolers as well as SFA students. Visit our Classical Academy link to learn more. Children First
Scholarships are accepted for full time Classical School students only.
Collegiate Style High School: SFA University School and Co-op is open to students in grades 7 through 12. Home
educated students may take classes to supplement their home learning and Sancta Familia students can take as few or as
many classes as needed on campus. Check out the University School link to find out about our Upper School for grades 7
through 12.
Parent Directed Education: Non-traditional private schools offer parents an option to legally school at home while
enrolled with a school rather than the public school board. SFA homeschool academy's professional staff is here to help
you every step of the way. We offer academic testing, record keeping, professional school transcripts, many activities and
field trips, high school diploma options, a graduation ceremony and much more. Enrollment accepted nationwide and year
round! Visit our Homeschooling with SFA link to learn more.
Homeschool Support: Students do not have to enroll in our academy to participate in our activities, field trips, and
classes. Homeschool families are invited to join our support network (BNCHE) for local support without enrollment in a
private school. Learn more by visiting our Homeschooling with SFA link.
Remedial and customized academics: SFA offers a five day a week special needs program that offers an alternative
learning environment for students that struggle to learn. We will customize our academics using differentiated instruction to
challenge each learner. Course work will be completed independently, in small groups, and in one-on-one tutorials with
teachers. The McKay Scholarship is accepted for this program. Program Fees & Tuition
