All Saints Day celebration at Holy Family Church on Sunday, November 6th!
Fun for children of all ages from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Kids 3 - 13 come dressed as a favorite saint. Prepare a short talk about the life of your saint. There are thousands of saints to choose from. Costume ideas can be found on the web. Scroll down on this page for older posts with helpful links to get you started. Preschool children should be able to at least give the name of their saint and maybe tell when he or she lived. Children in kindergarten through third grade should be able to give the saint's name, time he or she lived, date of death and feast day, as well as one interesting fact about the saint's life or patronage. Older children, in grades fourth through eighth, should prepare a two-minute talk about their saint. Children ages 14 - 18 may dress up if they wish, but should be prepared to work a game station set up for the younger children. Lunch will be served. Parents are asked to bring a bag of candy to be used as prizes for the games. Thursday, November 3, 2011
